She couldn't stop, and she knew for sure she would be omega at best. Turning and seeing all the others so happy, she cried even harder. She was happy for them, but she knew what the ranks would be, and it wouldn't be with her... Knowing that she had to someday go back to the herd, she jumped in the ocean, hoping that the salt water would hide her tear stains. Trying to be as proud as she could, she took a couple steps toward them, but stopped in her tracks as she started crying again.*

Her colts were playing somewhere, and she knew that they would never understand her feelings. She layed down beside a sand dune, where she was sure nobody would see her, and she started bawling even more. "I know I never made a good alpha mare, but I tried my hardest. Gem Twist deserves it more than me..."
