She watched in silent appreciation as each of the young mares are led from teh trailer, the last, Ice, finally brought to stand before her. Slowly, her muscles relaxed, seh steps forward and offers her palm, skyward, for the mare to inspect. Her tone soft and soothing, she begins to speak, allowing Ice to get accustomed to her tone, while she addressed her handler. Then i take it she has had someone on her back? Or simply started under saddle? She didn't have any qualms about getting an untried equine, however she was a little more trepatatious about getting a young mare. She was more accustomed to dealing with geldings and stallions. Though Ice was so pretty, and had a wonderful comformation... and if Tally did decide on breeding her, later in life, she would throw excellent offspring...
