It's incorrect to be breathing hard after push hands? You are obviously not practicing challenging push hands or you're in phenomenal shape. I agree that relaxation is a big part, but so is being able to do *something* martially. If you don't have that, then you have nothing.

And again, nobody mentioned force-on-force.
