I'm the distaff side of the Peartree! Pear recipes (or blackberry - we have 1 pear tree on the Green but about two million brambles) would be welcome.
Also how to remove chalky mud stains from trampling the green, bird lore, and kite-flying techniques, you see there is a meadow perfect for flying kites on the Green but danged if we know how not to break a leg in the ol' badger holes!!
(Shooting not an option)
[mumble mumble] Excuse me, those aren't badger holes, they are holes dug by young treasure hunters! Silly me.
Anyway, as this proves, please feel free to donate any thoughts or fancies ya'll have about pears, trees, greens or anything else vaguely interesting. Don't let this become just another way for me to tell Charlie to bring the washing in!!!
yours very sincerely,
Maragold (missis)
