I was thinking of getting one, but now that I know your thoughts on it I will definitely order one. Thanks!

Lori saw the post and mentioned she will send books for each of our 3 Galaxy winners....cool huh?

If you're looking for various pageant books, some good ones I have found are:
101 Secrets to Winning Pageants by Ann Marie Bivans

How to Win Pageants by Ginie Polo Sayles (out of print, but can sometimes be found via Ebay or Amazon or second hand market....worth it, even though 10 years plus old!)

Becoming a Beauty Queen by Barbara Burwell & Bowles, former Miss USA '76

There is one by Shauna Gammon I thought was helpful, called Watching the Winners, Learning their Style.

I know some people recommend Lu Parker's Catching the Crown but I found it to be more of an autobiography than helpful for a 1st time competitor. Good read though.

Sherry Strother put out one called Crowning Success that is good for Mrs. contestants, she is a friend of mine and an excellent competitor.

I would recommend these books with the first one being the first choice of all, also it's easily available on the market via Amazon. Not a "professional official Galaxy" endorsement, just my opinion only gals! If anyone has a resource they recommend, please post! I want everyone to feel good and prepared for our pageant in April. :)
