For the 2nd time, a Virginia gal has accepted the US title....Charli our Teen Miss Virginia will be returning to Galaxy in 2005 as Miss US Teen Galaxy after she gives up her title this coming spring.

We wish her the very best of luck in her new title as she paves the way for her Miss Teen Virginia successor soon to come in March next year!

An interesting fact: all the Teen/Miss/Mrs Virginia titleholders have always made the cut at Galaxy. We will continue to hope for an unbroken trend in 2005!:

Mrs. VA 02, Maria Beall--Mrs. Galaxy 2003
Miss VA 02, Autumn-Skye Port--Miss US 03-4th r/u nationals
Mrs. VA 04, Darlene Deeben--3rd r/u nationals
Miss VA 04, Katie Jones--Top 8 Semi-finalist
Teen Miss VA 04 Charli Hathcox--Miss Teen US 05 & 1st r/u nationals
Teen Miss Loudoun Co 04, Ashlee Deeben--Top 8 Semi-finalist
Miss No. VA 04, Radiah Hyatte--2nd r/u nationals

Between those 7, Virginia girls have won every national category but one, including Interview, Fashion, Onstage Question, Swimsuit and Gown. The only award we have not won at nationals is Photogenic! And that's only because we need to get someone like Clay Spann to move a little closer to us.... ;)
