  I am a doctoral student studying Irish dance costumes and accessories, and Irish dance costumes in the United States. I would be very interested in getting your input, information, and opinions about Irish dance costumes that you own and that you have seen in your dancing career. All responses are sent to me for research purposes, and you can select how private or public you want the information to be. I want to hear everyone's opinions on Irish dancing costumes, so please help me out.

  This beautiful dress was made by Celtic Yarns less than 1 year ago. The dress is made of Mother of Pearl sequins with Pink pearl Organza, the appliqué is cerise pink sequins, lilac sequins and lilac organza. The lining is cerise pink. The dress would suit an 7 - 9 year old open championship dancer. This dress is in excellent condition and is absolutely stunning on stage. It has never been altered so can be adjusted if necessary. Price includes matching headband and knickers. The dress has not been worn alot due to dancer having 6month ban and she is also very sad to see dress go.the reason for selling is we have had to change schools again and have another 6 month ban

  What is the focus of your irish dancing? Do you dance to perform at dance outs or do you focus on competition. Does your school focus on teams or solos? It seems there are a few schools in Sydney who mainly focus on competition and some that focus on doing dance outs but dont do well then in competition. What is your passion?
