Subject: Thank you from the NSW Australian Committee

On behalf of the Australian Irish Dancing Association I would like to thank all the volunteer parents & teachers who gave up all or part of their time over the past 4 days of the Australian Championships. We are a non-profit organisation so therefore rely 100% on volunteers (both teachers and parents) which is why we can keep both admission costs and entry fees down so low. There were many parents who were there from 6am until close every day along with the teachers. I was impressed with their graciousness and the great care they were taking with their jobs. You do not know how greatful we are!
It seemed that everyone had a great time at the Ceili on Sunday night! Good on you, kids! You deserved to let your hair down. A big thank you to the mums who helped to take the money at the door. You, also, were wonderful and gracious. Thank goodness for people like you. Our children have a great future with you as their example. Once I scrape myself off the floor (where I'll be for a few days with exhaustion) I'll try and post the pictures I took at the Ceili on a website (if not ask your teacher to request a photo CD from me). Thanks to Jackie Miller from SA and Pria from Victoria for helping us all to have so much fun.
Also, thank you to those parents and teachers from interstate and NSW who complimented us on the Championships. We appreciated your lovely comments, good wishes and support.
We are certainly looking forward to next year's Australian Championships in QLD. Put us on the volunteer list. We know how much help you need!
