within her life span of seventeen years, gaia had never quite enjoyed the taste of alcohol.. maybe some wine and she was done. the main cause for this was that well, our little gaia had no reason to need alcohol -- with the lack of fear meant she had the lack of something to compensate for. (follow me here, i'm demented.. lol) anyway, while gaia stood there at the counter, her head bowed forward to play with the puddle of condensation on the bar, sam was obviously trying to get her attention. usually, when someone started yelling out her name, she had no problem picking it out 'cause.. well.. there weren't many people named guy-uh. so, hesitantly, her head is lifted and then tilted for those bluer-than-blue eyes to catch the hazels of mr. moon -- the confusing man of the hour. she swallows a bit, turning to face him..

"hey, c'mere.."

yeah.. that was real eloquent all right.
