Subject: She sighed softly, standing up as she watched him for a moment. Her fingers traced over the initials one more time before she crossed around to the front of the desk and leaned against it, watching her dad a little more closely. "Do you still love mom?" She questioned softly, her voice a little hesitant as if she was afraid of the answer. "And I mean like...really love her, like are you in love with her? Does she still make your heart do funny things and make you feel kind of dizzy after you kiss her?" That was what being in love was like in her opinion, it meant emotions and feelings and sensations...

  • "I still love your mom..." He confirmed without hesitation, but then trailed off. He honestly still could not remember the last time that he had really kissed his wife - and that was more troubling then anything else. He would never admit that to anyone - least of all to his daughter or wife, of course - and he was ashamed of it, but it was the truth. Running his hands slowly down his face, he then stood up a little straighter and tucked his hands into the pockets of his black slacks. "Eliza, everything will be fine. Don't worry about it any more." He knew that she would worry still no matter what he said though, and wouldn't believe that everything would be fine until it actually was - she was just like that.
