Subject: "I know I don't have to." She stated in response, her hand brushing through his shaggy hair. Either way, they needed to decide something soon because time was running out and summer was closing in quick. "Has McAuthor called you again?" Since they didn't live together she was never sure who all was vying for him on their tour that summer but McAuthor's had been the one she had been leaning towards if he was going to take one at all. The tour had a few other guys that had families and it would be a bit more tame then some of the others. A lot of the guys Shay's age spent all their time partying when they weren't on the waves and were almost always surrounded by little hoochie groupies.

  • "I'm supposed to call him when I make a decision..." That was the problem though - that tour that she was most interested in was one of the least appealing to him. When he did things, he wanted to do them big, and he didn't want to settle for the tamer tour of has-beens. All those guys were older and more laid-back - it wasn't really his style. Not to mention less money. But he didn't want to just tell her that, because he knew that she saw it as they best option... Maybe an inbetween option would come up.
