Realistic Dreams - Beach
Welcome to the Beach! The soft white sand and clear blue water make it a place of perfection. There are multiple areas such a public beach and farther down are some more secluded areas. Docks stretch out over the water and in some areas rocks line the shore.

  • Baby's got blue skies up ahead...
    -- Isabelle, 21:54:47 10/01/04 Fri
It was late and the evening had clouded over and a light drizzle had begun, but it was still warm and so she was out there for some fresh air. She had officially broken everything off with Aaron that evening - partly because of Paul, but mostly just for herself, because she knew Aaron just wasn't the guy for her. It had been simple telling the man - he had taken it okay, had been disappointed and surprised, but reasonnable - but it had been harder to explain to her father who called less than two hours after the fact. How he had found out was beyond her, and how he thought it was any of his business was, again, beyond her, and she hadn't even bothered to try and explain herself. She had managed to get off the phone with him without too much of a lecture, and then had shifted restlessly from her bed, to the loveseat, to the laz-y-boy, and then back again, around her apartment for the next while before finally just grabbing Gambit and Rogue's leashes and heading out here. The two ridgebacks were more than happy to be out and about, despite the light rain, and were racing around the beach in a wild game of tag, as she strolled slowly behind. Hands quietly shoved in the pockets of her khaki cords as she strolled, a bright aqua-blue long-sleeved tee was fit to her torso, and her dark ringlets were pulled back into a messy bun..

  • ...Take A Number... -- Drew, 17:22:01 10/02/04 Sat

She pulled up to the beach in her little blue BMW and got out. Finally somewhere she belonged. Drew loved the beach, for it was the place she would have her new career as a marine biologist. She locked the car door and began to walk out to the beach. She took off her shirt and shorts to reveal her bikini, and layed down a towel. She laid down, trying to get a tan, and looking around at the people there. Maybe she'd find someone here right for her.

  • Vindicated -- Caleb West, 19:01:37 10/01/04 Fri
She pulled her chevy S10 into the parking lot and stepped out into the sun light. Caleb wasn't sure where to go since she just moved here and figured it wouldn't hurt to see the beach. She stood by her truck and looked out over the white sands. IT was still pretty earlie and there was almost no one there except the surfers. She reached into the bed of the truck and grabed her fencing bag.
She headed down to the sand and stopped about halfway to the water and set her bag down. She streched for a few minutes and pulled out her practice sword. She started to practice by her self and was compltly oblivious to the wind that had picked up.
Calebs skirt was picked up by the wind and her ligh brown bathing suit bottoms could be seen. The straps of her light brown suit trings could be seen under the almost white see through tank top she wore. Her dirty blonde hair was pulled up in a pony tail and her hazle eyes were looking at a partner only she could see.
After a few minutes Caleb quit and put her practice sword in the bag and pulled out her towel and laid it out in the sand. After she did that she pulled her top and skirt off to show off her lean shapped body and sun taned skin. she started towards the water to take a dipp in the cool ocean water. Caleb whent for a quick swime in the ocean and came back to her towle to site out and sun bath for at least and hour.
As she got her self settled on her blanket she saw a cute couple walk by and she wondered if she would find some one around here who would like her even though she was a little strange and some what niave.

  • || It only hurts when I breathe || -- Riley, 14:24:20 09/30/04 Thu
She was sick. She sighed and sat down on a slab of side walk just off the path to the beach. She curled her legs up to her chest and put her head down, tears falling silently. What had she done? Nothing was going right. The world seemed to hate her. Her dark blue book bag beside her lay open. She reached over, taking out a sketch book, and drawing the beach. It always seemed to calm her in a way, but would it take away all the pain she felt now? Would it take away the memories and regrets? She again sighed and pulled on her headphones, blaring them loud. She didn't care, nothing mattered anymore. Did it? Tears stained her face and she for once wished she had someone to comfort her. Yeah, there was one guy, but was he playing her? She had been stupid, and was mad at herself for it. She now just wished to meet someone who would make her feel safe and tell her he'd never leave. For the first time, she wanted a family.

  • Beautiful Those Waves may Be, But Deadly To the end -- Leah Damell, 17:37:32 09/18/04 Sat
The golden brown locks bounced across leah's shoulders and back as she walked along the sandy shores of the beach. Deep ocean blue gaze swept over the area lightly with boredom as she sighed. She was alone and bored and didn't want to be either right now. Yet it wasn't like she had much of a choice, seeing as she knew no one and none had yet to approach her and strike up conversation. Leah paused and gazed out at the calming sea, watching the waves roll acros the shore with boredom and a bit of admiration. such beauty yet so deadly at times the ocean could be. she sighed a bit thinking she could surf some. Heck why not, she had her designer board with her why not take it out on some killer waves. Then again what else was there to do at moment.

With a grin she went out on the board and swam far out rolling under the waves when needed to come back up in spot she thought a good place. As she watched a perfect set roll up, she spun the board about and swiftly swam toward where shore would be. At the precise moment her mind set on the wave as she rose onto the board her knees bent and began sailing on the wave riding it perfectly. Her mind wandered slightly but seemed just enough to lose her connection with her board and she lost balance with a loud yelp. She slid into the massive swells obviously getting pounded. After several moments her board washed up on shore and so did she moments later coughing and sputtering. She fell across the warm sand in agony collapsing on her side then sitting up with a whimper. Oh god what had she done? she was so stupid to let her mind wander and look where it got her, on the shore injured. Injured indeed too, for her knee seemed pretty badly cut up as did her right arm. She groaned loudly as she fell back into the sand closing her eyes against the sunlight then struggled back up gripping her knee which was covered in crimson due to the good sized gash. Hot tears seemed to sting the young woman's face as she set beside her board with a soft whimper and a groan of pain. What was she gonna do?

  • The world aint ready for you

    -- Jax Conners, 12:19:41 09/18/04 Sat
He sat in the sand a few yards away from the Surf Shack, the books disgarded beside him, leant back slightly on his hands. It was coming to the end of the tourist season, but the international side to the business would keep them riding easy. His ocean blue gaze flickers of his daughter playing in the shallows on her skim board, cautious as ever of the mature-headed little girl. It was easy to forget she was only seven, she acted like his mother more than his daughter.

  • You took my whole life, my breath away...
    -- Isabelle, 23:18:57 09/17/04 Fri
Yet again - or maybe still? - it was raining lightly, but two fully grown dogs, each at well over eighty pounds, didn't take well to being cooped up inside an apartment for the whole day, so she was out tending to their needs. Despite the drizzle, they seemed to have hit some sort of relatively warm spell - so it wasn't too miserable out and she was actually not minding the late-night stroll. Hands slipping in to the front pockets of her faded denims - fit tightly and resting low on her hips - her rosey pink knit sweater was unzipped over a thin white long-sleeved tee, dark ringlets loose, slightly damp, and tousled by the ocean breeze. Ahead of her at a distance, the pair of ridgebacks raced around the beach at a wild pace - burning off the energy built up after a day lounging inside...

She walks to the beach, smiling slightly, looking over the ocean, and watching the waves. The sound of the ocean calmed her, and she liked it here. She looked around for the girl she was supposed to meet and waited patiently for her to arrive.

  • I'm watching the rain clouds come...
    -- Madison, 21:24:13 09/13/04 Mon
It was chilly, but atleast the rain had let up for now - though the clouds lingered and there was an agressive breeze blowing - so they had decided to head out there to pass some time. Once he parked, she leaned over to press a soft kiss to the side of his neck before pushing open her door and jumping out then letting the pups out. Inhaling softly at the cool wind, she pulled her jacket on and then tied her hair back into a messy bun to keep the ringlets out of her face. With a soft laugh, she waited until he was out and standing then spoke with a wink. "Nice night..." It was nice to be out though and she really wasn't complaining - completely content just to be there with him...
