Still, Liam was struggling with the new found enemy called Sleep. He wouldn't conform to it's sleepy ways... and it was trying to make him, and Liam was slowly becoming unable to hold it back. In a heroic gesture, Tex's soft lips gently brushed 'gainst Liam's skin, and once again -- brought him to life, but not for long... Liam's eyelids crept back up over his hazel eyes, instantly gaining him few moments of awake-and-alert. "Mmm... Soul mates?" murmured Liam rather thoughfully, his eyes gaining a bit of a wistful look to them. "I've never really thought about it much... I mean, I never thought about anything like that before I met someone who changed everything. What about you?" Liam deliberately has left Tex's name out of that sentence to see whether or not she'd pick up on the fact that the person was her... On second thought, Liam figured maybe he just better blab the answer... incase she wasn't all that swell at taking hints, like himself. "Uh," coughed Liam, smiling shyly down at her. "That person... was you. Just in case you wanted to know." Shifting a little, Liam placed his head in his hand and rested on his side, his elbow helping to keep him propped up. His spare hand was still idly toying with the soft fingertips of Tex... Liam actually had no idea that he was still holding her hand, 'cause you can bet that if he knew... well... he'd be blushing, since our good ol' Li was oh-so-fearful when it came to physical interaction. Liam was always afriad he'd do the wrong thing, or screw it up, or... just be horrid at it all. And the last thing he wanted to do was have any of the latter three happen 'tween him and Tex... Liam wanted to be good at everything, be sure of everything, and be just generally perfect when around Tex, and therefore... nothing messed up, or imperfect was allowed to happen. Nope, not ever. Liam realeased somewhat of a tired and content sigh at the reassurance Tex gave him about her being here when he woke up. He wanted her to be the first thing he saw when his eyes pryed themselves apart... and if she wasn't, he'd freak out. Literally. There was an endless amount of horrible possibilities that Liam could come up with if Tex wasn't there when he woke... and right now, Liam knew he had to push them out of his head as Tex asked him a question. He had been so focused on worrying and thinking about all the bad things that could happen, that he'd totally and completely missed her question... or, well, he must have heard it wrong. With raised eyebrows, he murmured, "Umm... Sorry, what's that? I-I-I um... didn't hear you right." Had she asked him to kiss her? A good-night kiss? Oh no, Liam was hearing wrong things again... just 'cause he wanted to kiss her but was somewhat afraid of doing it didn't mean that she'd mysteriously come out of the blue and request one from him... unless, Liam figured, he was already asleep and dreaming this whole thing. But if he was dreaming, then why did everything feel so real? ...Why did everything look so vivid?
