  • She let out a little sigh and looped her arms around her knees. "Roxy and Taye are gone." She couldn't even remember if she had expressed her melancholy over this to him - she couldn't keep track of what she told her dog and what she told him - either way, it almost upset her as much as losing Taye to Roxy had in the first place - she had accepted it for a short time but that was back when she believed in certain things that she didn't anymore, and now she felt more alone than ever.
