Subject: You need a blue sky holiday

His head was pounding as he sat by the blazing fire they had built, largely ignoring the rowdy conversations of the group of beach bums he had grown up with, gazing out over the seemingly inky black water, the moonlight higlighting the blue in the path it made rippling over the water. She roar of crashing waves could still be heard over the group and it was almost haunting him, keeping his gaze fixed out there. It was cold out tonight... almost freezing infact, but the blankets and fire did a good job in keeping them warm. He had Desi tucked under his arm as he leant back on his hand, wrapped in one of the blankets as the group reminiced and made plans, shared ambitions and dreams... like they always did at these things. Everyone seemed to be having a great time but the absence of one key part pf the group was obviously missing, and everyone was doing their best to ignore it. Luke, however, had glanced across the fire at Jason and Ana more than once and seen Sky in her place, he put it down to the headache... and tried not to dwell on it.
