Subject: Travis was getting up there in age, starting to take his first wobbly steps, and she had never felt so old - with the other one in the oven so close to being done, it was precariuos to be bringing Travis out to the beach, but she thought if they were cooped up in the apartment a moment longer, they might both explode, so she'd brought out a huge blanket and settled it away from the waves, and had brought some sand toys for travis and a book for herself.
