She had just stepped outside the double doors when he arrived. With a quick job she ran around the front to jump in the passenger side and close the door. In hand she had a bowl of half and half soft chocolate and vanilla icecream, with a spoon sticking out the top. She pulled on her seatbelt and glanced over at Jase. Her face wore a serious expression simply because it wasn't something to laugh about. The poor kid was probably scared, and the teacher was probably annoyed. It wasn't totally Jase's fault, they both kind of lost track of time. They just needed some time to adjust and get into the routine...
