When Sonya appeared at his side with the icecream, he took a moment to just pause and just think about how damned lucky he was to have her. Without her, he guessed that his and Macon's lives would be messy, and well... a ton different. She was addictive, he realized, and living without her just wasn't possible. His eyes roamed her concerned features... the same features that gave him chills within the pit of his stomach. He loved her so much, it was shiver-worthy. A quick, and soft tremor ran up his spine as he gently placed his hand on her arm, leaning over to press a soft thought always passionate kiss to her lips. "I really do love you... I don't know what I'd do without you," he whispered, his expression genuine and adoring all at once. After another still moment of just admiring her, he turned back to the wheel... Now... NOW, he was ready to go pick up that son of his who was probably confused 'bout where his Daddy, and Sonya... were.
