Yes, Erica was definitely dealing with it.. and she was patting herself on the back for it.. jus' look at her! Anyway, she shook Mr. McAllistor's hand with a short grip. She nodded a bit to accent the action before relinquishing Owen's hand. And right now, there was no doubt in her mind that the in laws understood what Owen was saying -- that they understood that she was going to be a McAllistor shortly. She cleared her throat a little bit before looking from Owen to the withered lady, "Umm.. maybe.." Yup, she wanted kids, but she didn't see why the mother-in-law-to-be needed to know this right away. She shrugs slightly and gives Owen a little smile, "I could have more money though, right.." She was concealing the hidden meaning not necessarily wanting the in laws to know 'bout that.

She was laughing out loud as they strolled away from the group with the terseness of taut leather. "You need to have more fun.. I'm definitely going to make sure you learn to live a little while we're here." She smiles at him before pushing her hair out of her blue eyes. She moistens her lips before looked back to the group, "And if you get into trouble I'll take the heat.. they don't have anything on me." She shrugs a bit, she didn't have any reason to feel awkward around the elderly couple, they didn't have hardly anything to do with her and she had no reason to impress them. She reaches up to ruffle his hair, "And they can't have your head for this, it's much to pretty where it is.." Nods defiantly.. "Definitely.."
