“Okay…” Liam murmured in a rather husky-tone, glancing at Tex shyly; his hazel eyes full of silence and wonder. For more then just a moment, Liam seemed to consider the idea of actually bringing his lips to Tex’s, and allowing that silent bliss to enveloped them both for just a few minutes… if he could keep it to just that. Liam’s lips were mere inches from from Tex’s, and his thoughts just seemed to pick up then, as did his desire. His face drew nearer to hers; he wanted to kiss her so bad – for the both of them… He needed this kiss, she needed this kiss… they both needed it. But could Liam do it; could he kiss Tex? …nope. And let me tell you why our little football superstar couldn’t perform the seemingly simple task… At about the second where he would’ve chickened right out of all this kissing buisness, a holler from downstairs made him yank back and hurriedly say, “…good to know.” A bit of an embarrassed little smile curled onto his perfect lips as a oh-so-cute shade of red gripped the length of his handsome face. If that blush didn’t let Tex know that his mind had just about to verge onto when it came to well… boyish thoughts and kissing and… everything, then… well, what did? “C’mon,” Liam said finally – his fingers sneaking over to hers and gently toying with them. “That’s their signal for dinner, I’m guessing… Oh, and hey – Tex? Prom is tomorrow night… I’m sorry I waited so long to ask you, but I guess… well, I was afraid you’d have not wanted to go – or, at least, not with me.” Okay, so that was a little too much honesty… but hey – that was Liam for ya.
