she swallows, blinking as she begins to attempt to comprehend what he was saying. she had no memory of what had happened because the head trauma she'd received earlier. she was looking at him intently before she lowers into a nearby chair, her cup absently finding the table. she glances towards sam, blinking still in shock. she shakes her head and then scratches her forehead, still trying to comprehend this. her hand caught his to pull him down into an adjacent chair, to be sure that she would get all of this.

"so.. we kissed and you never called. if you were so concerned, then why didn't you contact me? i was so far gone that it made me dizzy to think that i'd done what ella told me i'd done. i remembered soft words said and waited for you to at least email me or something - when you didn't, i figured ella was telling the truth for once."

moistens her lips, lowering her gaze before looking back to him, surprise edging its way to her features - clearer now than before.

"you enjoyed kissing me? sam, i never thought i'd hear that from anyone - please tell me this isn't all a cruel joke, i swear i will beat the shit out of you if it is.."

yeah, she was on the verge of being happy - that is if sammy boi didn't ruin it.
