Tex had always loathed crying, so much so that she had practically sworn to never ever cry. But here she was, with big salty tears beginning to well up at the back of her eyes at the mere fact that Liam Burbank was avoiding the prospect of looking at her. She sniffs a little bit and looks back down to her ice-cream, her appetite having disappeared for the moment. She frowns before her gaze rises, "Why'd you have to go telling me I was beautiful? Things would be jus' fine if you wouldn't have said that -- I wouldn't have been so damn stupid." She looks away, just to hide how much this jus' hurt. Yup, you could say Tex was an emotional fall-out, but we all know that that comes from years of emotional scarring. So, she sits there, her eyes down to recover from that little outburst. She sighs a little bit, her eyes finally move back to his as she clears her throat, her voice a mumble, "Don't bother, wouldn't want to get you in trouble anyway. But, I'm not your average girl.. I do know the difference between a quarterback and a half-back. My grandpa's a big fan.." She looks away, blinking at the neon colors, still idely toying with the ice-cream.
