He knew that the reason she laughed was probably because bring punched frequently by her mother, or father was probably what she was just used to. Obviously, she didn't enjoy it -- but she chose to laugh at it, to escape. To escape, so that the constant abuse wouldn't corrupt her. "I'll drive you home..." He said, assuming that she didn't want him around while she rested. Besides, maybe she jus' needed some quiet time. Anyways, it was up to her... Even though he did want to spend every waking moment with her, he didn't want to intrude in what she had to do as far as 'alone time'. "But I'm not leaving your house 'til you have ice on that thing." A smile pinched the corners of his lips, and he gently loosened his grip on her as the elevator came to a stop, and the door swung open to reveal the hospital lobby.
