With a bit of a frown she turns to look at him as she backs out of the elevator, "Fine, the ice won't be going on 'cause I don't want you to leave.." Maybe he wanted to leave, maybe after meeting her family he was jus' way too creeped out to want to be with her. Her brow furrows as she looks at him before she finally gives a shake of her head, well she couldn't blame him, "Umm, that came across wrong.. You can leave if you want." She didn't want to force him into being around her, no matter how much she wanted him there - it would just be altogether too wrong. The reason she laughed is because when she sat back on her heels from this horrible living and looked at all that had happened to her the obsurdity of it all was found humorous. When she stepped outside herself and viewed her own actions and the actions of her family - she found it all funny. It was just Erica, if you can't laugh at something dreadful then there's no use in living it.. When she'd drank that shot to confirm her infrequent thoughts of suicide, she had been silently giving a hint of those many many times when she just couldn't laugh - and all she could do was cry.
