I'm becoming the same way online with sports. Always a P-G guy, I don't want to waste time anymore downloading and wondering if my "pitch count" is too high for a freebie, and then once the P-G's done downloading only to see that the feature writer has become Paul Zeise.
Nah. I just pop open the Trib, see if Starkey's written anything and look for something local that's non-herd material. There usually isn't anything worthwhile other than high school sports, but it's not becoming the waste of time the P-G is.
