Solar-Fire sent me some rules that he created in the wee hours of the morning...I edited them, and after he took a final look of the product, here is what he has come up with...
General StarCraft/BroodWar Rules:
This section deals with basic game behavior and conduct while playing StarCraft and its expansion, BroodWar.
No cheating, ever. Cheating will not be tolerated. Map hacks, and any and all other cheats or devices which give you an unfair advantage by illegal game explotation.
No backstabbing! This is dishonorable behavior and it does not belong within Camelot, when you ally with a person you are their ally, period. No conduct such as this will ever be tolerated within this guild.
When an ally requests assistance, do try to help them out in whatever fashion you can, from defense to offense, try to offer some help. Of course, there are times and circumstances when you simply are unable to assist your ally, this is to be understood by both people and no grudges should be borne of this.
Do not slanderize or verbally assualt other players. Amongst friends a little competitve jest may be tolerated, but remember to keep it within bounds. Try to be courteous and uphold Camelot's moral codes.
Make sure to use a fair map when you are creating a game, unless all involved in the game agree to using a map with a handicap or special rules.
If you are going against a fellow opponent in a match, make sure to obey game rules. Remember to keep courteous and offer assistance in helping improve your guildmate's game skills, as a match between friends should be and remain just that, between friends.
I agree with these rules...and I'd like to thank Solar for creating his version of them.
Input? Suggestions?
Semper Fidelis,
War
