This is a cool idea, and it would ease the process of finding good and capable leaders. However, my fear is that if we're electing new officials every so often, then I fear that people may end up spending too much time campaigning... In essence, making Camelot one big political campaign. I think this could be a very good thing though, if slightly tweaked. Perhaps if there was a designated period of time before voting that only then could a person try to rally support to be elected. I think 2 weeks would be a sufficient period of time in which to do this. In this way, perhaps, leaders would be able to devote more time to the duties of their elected office.

As far as secondary positions that concern the maintenance of Camelot pages, exactly what are we talking about? Is this just a job where the elected member maintains the page and adds improvements where they are seen fit or is this something where we're constantly going to be having new pages?

Ok, now getting somewhat off this specific topic, there is the issue of the rank of Knight. This rank has always been a prestigious rank in Camelot and the gateway, so to speak, to assuming a role of leadership in Camelot. Camelot has never given this rank lightly... I'm in agreement with War that there should be some kind of test given before this rank is awarded. Granted, it kind of looks like the training of Squires by Knights personally may go, but I think that Squires should still be required and expected to study Camelot and know it's rules and regulations. If there should be a test, I think that after it is decided that a Squire should be tested, that they are given a surprise test, so to speak, at a random time that they are found online by someone qualified to administer such a test. Since we won't have Knights actively overseeing their training, then there must be incentive for them to train themselves.

Ok, that's all for now... Tired, must sleep. =P
