I prefer ebooks. I love that I can carry tons of books with me at all times on my Treo. I enjoy being able to read in the dark so my hubby can sleep. I love being able to download a book instantaneously without having to wait for the books to be shipped or having to deal with the surly employees at our local bookstore.
The only thing I don't like about ebooks is that the page numbers don't correspond to the hard copies. This makes it difficult to discuss a book with others because you can't refer to the page numbers.
