Subject: The Battle continues

Ikari's subconscious mind flashed a few thoughts throughout his consciousness. He thought he'd recognized that armor before, as he is a lorekeeper on the occult, and things of the Fae. The star-specked space look gave it away. The Armor of Night was said to be made up of the darkest night sky. It was supposed to be all but impenetrable, unless exposed to Sunlight, and was rumored to have powers of invisibility. One could only assume that this was why there was the impenatrable storm surrounding the building, that maybe Detrik liked it that way to keep him at the advantage. None the less, Edo had a means to get around the situation. He was, after all, a storm-lord. Storms, and to a large degree the weather, were his to command! The Satyr raised his hand commandingly to the sky, and pulled from his glamour his dominion over the sky... but something happened he could not have expected: The soupy, sluggish atmosphere in reference to chimerical energies became quite visible - and as the glamour left his fingertips, it travelled in slow-mo waves like ripples on water. They seemed to disperse harmlessly, and appeared to be absorbed into the ceiling. Edo noted that the lesser powers he's been using, including the Jumping and the use of enhanced speed that both have been using this entire time, seemed to not be affected by this soupishness.

The Bushi did not get his lighting, but there was a facimile there. Detrik moved with the speed of such, and dashed quickly into the Satyr. A great Blow was deflected by a high-parry from Edo, and again a shower of sparks and energy cackled between the two blades. Detrik's sword was sent off course by the deliberate parry, but he recovered with alarming speed, slamming a spinning back kick into the stomach of his opponent. Ikari was thrusted backwards by the powerful kick, and rolled over the desk with the momentum. He landed with grace, still in stance, on the other side of it. A trickle of blood dripped from between his lips, and down his chin... several ribs were broken.

In an instant Edo was on the move again. He charged over the desk as if it were not there, moving in one fluid motion. As he landed on the other side, he went into a slightly modified version of his initial double-attack. The first blow was defended easily by the Sidhe, a hard parry deflecting all damage from the katana. As Ikari passed behind him, however, he landed a critical strike - which cut directly into a small crease in the plates of Detrik's armor. A mist of blood sprayed from beneath the armor, and Detrik was sent stumbling forwards, were he slammed into the Desk. He was there for only a second, long enough to spit a vomitous mass of dark blood onto the paperwork he had there.

"Yield Knight, you will not win this." Edo stated calmly, but it was obvious the Sidhe would not accept failure. Without a word he jumped backwards, Tightly rolling into a ball, and rolling towards Edo's side - with a quick upward, overhead feint he drew Edo's defences, and stabbed hard backwards, under his arm. This move stirred some distant memory in Edo's mind, and he felt the hot sting of steel penetrate his stomach. The Longsword plunged deep into the Samurai's torso, spilling blood and other things to the floor.

But Edo's will stood.
