Ikari could smell the trouble this would cause, though it answered his questions as to wether O'righty had dealt with the Fae before, or was a mundane who had travelled the wrong road to the wrong place.

Some part of his training took over, noting the stance of the two men, his eyes darting to the cutlass, and then to the maul; and lastly to the large cannon. His thoughts fell away from their normal patterns, instead focusing on the calm and meditation, finding the center that would be required to move fast enough to doge the cannonball should the large troll fire. His eyes rolled to the sky for a moment, and under the cowl of the hood he frowned. Very few clouds... and very little he could work with if push came to shove; his magics in weather control would mean little. He would have to rely on other skills instead.

His voice was a mere whisper, and he was thankful no slaugh faced them as he spoke to Ian. "Friends of yours, O'righty?"
