Subject: Overworked, Alden, FJ

The winemakers of Alden were busy scurrying about, the competitions over, the Harvest in full swing. Every shop, every vineyard, every street was full to the brim with people, grapes, casks, and barrels. The hubbub was exhilirating, the air fragrant with the first scents of Autumn.

The young daughter of Master Lather worked out front of the Lather Pub, rolling in some short kegs to store in the basement. Every pub in Alden had a storehouse for wine, Lather's in particular having one of the oldest and most distinctive collections.

Elaine Lather wiped her brow, dragging stray hairs of blonde hair out of her eyes. For a moment the satyr girl leaned her backside against the doorframe of the pub, half bent over the keg to catch her breath. Without the self-awareness of other more vain women, Elaine was oblivious to the rather enticing vision she presented.
