In reply to: The Chief 's message, "Carrots, I would try to find out your aircard's penchant for riding this neighbor's coattails causes said neighbor either a rise in rates or a drop in service.... if the former, the right thing to do is to offer to pay them for a percentage (probably cheaper than getting your own). If it causes a disruption or slowing of their service, then you should probably bite the bullet. Otherwise, I say ride it as long as you can. You're probably not the only one in the neighborhood doing it. And if you see strange cars parked along the streets with people tapping furiously on their laptops, you'll know you're not alone!
