Carrotts, it does slow down the machine. I don't have a password but I'm going to get one tomorrow. I realized this week that someone was tapping into my wireless. Sorry, my veggy friend, it's not polite to use someone's wireless signal without their permission. On the other hand, if you ask, you may make a new friend. If the air-card has less than a "bar" for service at log-on, it goes out and tries to find something else. The cell phone works just fine so I don't know why that is. I'll give AT&T a call.
