Subject: Disappearing files under a specific user.......Inside for details

About 6 months ago, I logged onto my desktop and all of my icons were gone, email was empty, it was as thought it was a brand new user account. I was able to recover the emails and files and copied them over into a new user. This weekend, I came home and the samething happened again to the new account I created 6 months ago, only this time, the "my document" folder was completely empty, and she files were moved into a temp directory. By the time I made a new user and was ready to copy over the temp folder, everything was gone. All my school files, saved FF's everything was gone. I was able to recover the emails, but no files. Even system restore didn't help. I did have a backup and could restore from that, but I'm afraid I have a worm or something that neither Norton or Mcafee is picking up, and I'm going to have this same problem again. There are two other users on this computer and nothing has happened to them.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kimster
