07.10 - IPA (JSA) has changed to PVS Workfind
1. What has changed?
We have moved to have all the JSA offices of the ESH Group operating under one brand nationally. One JSA brand is primarily a change to the “name” our job seekers and employers know us by.
It means we are now known by DEEWR, Centrelink, job seekers and employers by a common name across Australia. This therefore means changes to things like the signage at sites and the logos on marketing materials which are now all in place and in circulation.
2. What was the reason/s?
Previously ESH operated 3 separate JSA brands in Australia and 1 Recruitment brand. This led to a high level of market confusion for both employers and job seekers – in particular for larger employers who operated across multiple states.
We have consolidated these 3 brands (PVS Workfind, IPC Employment and IPA JSA) to 1 JSA brand to create less confusion of our brands in the market and to remove the cost of maintaining multiple brands.
3. Which brand?
We decided to choose from the 3 existing brands and with the majority of JSA sites operating under the PVS Workfind brand, it was decided that PVS Workfind was the most appropriate.
4. What’s the benefit to job seekers or staff?
This change has not been undertaken to create a material benefit to job seekers or staff, but neither will there be a detriment. Job seekers will continue to receive the same high level of support that they have become accustomed to from the same staff in their local branches. Staff remain employed by IPC Employment or IPA (JSAs) as is the case today.
5. When was the change?
The change over took place on the 1st July 2010 – all ESH JSA branches are now fully operational as PVS Workfind across Australia.
