You know I was wondering the same thing. So I went to spark notes cuz I really dont understand the whole thing, and there was a translation in modern day speech of all Shakespeares plays. There was such a big difference in the diction. But what I was wondering was if this type of speech makes this book? I mean, would it be as good if it were written like books are today? My guess is probably not, but it could be.
