I agree that Shakespeare is very hard to understand and it takes much more effort to read, but I wouldn't agree that it isn't very good, Shakespeare has a command over the English language that I think no one has surpassed, at least in the vernacular in which he is writing. Especially with the multiple denotations/ connotations of the words that he uses, it gives so many different meanings to what each character is saying, and it gives a play on words that makes the play that much more interesting to analyze.
