] Date Posted: Sun, Jun 27 2004, 21:59:20 Hi to fellow timeshare survivors, This is not a particularly Singaporean timeshare problem, but I expect there are people from Singapore who will have dealt with the Royal Resorts timeshare company. They sell timeshare from their base in Bali, maketing resort locations in Bali, Thailand, Goa and Australia. I have fond them to be completely unethical, using high pressure selling techniques, no cooling off period and misleading and deceptive conduct to induce sales. Their company set up is so complex, it is impossible to pin down the true corporate identity of the "Royal Group", although I know the Chairman is John Spence. I would appeciate any information that anyone may have about Royal Resorts, and any advice on how to chase this company. I am doing as much as I can, through the consumer protections agencies in Australia, as the company does have an office here, and does have a .com.au web address.
