Dear all,

This is a so called 'old scam new victims' scenario. I was lucky that I never went thru the extend of doing down for the presentation.

But I experienced the survey that was outside Paragon, where I was 'helping' a babe to do a survey due to some free time I had while waiting for my next appt. The scratch card issue was the same, won a watch, and a holiday trip.

I was asking to go this Fable house for a presentation. In fact, I always have this belief- nothing is free. And such good deal for a 5 mins survey is just crap. So after the survey, i excused myself, saying I've another appt to rush. They tried calling and calling, but i didn't bother to pick up the call after the first one.

Another example is the phone call I received. Caller will greet u with cheerful voice, then tell u about your winning during some shopping trip few months ago. Sure enough, ppl do shop, but can't reli remem about the finer details of lucky draw, but these cons based on the 'greed' of commoners to persuade them to go down for their presentation, thus u get those hard sell tactics etc.

This gal that called me, the moment I told her that i haven't been shopping for the past 3 months, she just slammed down the phone without even the basic courtesy to say good bye....well, service orientated industry nowadays seems slack even for cons yeah? hahaha....

Anyway, this presentation will take place in an office near peninsular if I didn't remem wrongly, n the other one is near an office oppo forum.

So guys n gals, the lesson to this is- we are caught due to the greed in us for a cheap or free deal, which we should tell ourselves that nothing comes free in this world.

Yes. Pass the word around. Don't let these scammers take u or your loved ones for a ride. Please warn everyone u know about this. Now the problem with many of us is that we are naturally greedy and impulsive. Don't succumb to the temptation. Remember, nothing is free. People must realize that going for these freebies and offers will put them in a precarious position as far as their finances are concerned. You will be spending money on something u don't need and will soon regret in a short while when u realize that it is something extraneous. As u can see in these forum, many people regret their decisions and get into a lot of trouble trying to cancel their membership, going to see CASE and seeking the services of lawyers. It is a big headache trying to get out of the grips of these is leeches when reality sets in......
