Yes, what about VICTIM'S RIGHTS and the rights of their families? Can you assure that a mass murderer won't be allowed not only to live but to *enjoy* his life. That's the affront that no one here who is against the Death Penalty has addressed. If you want to turn all Death Penalty cases into life imprisionment, please, please detail a plan that will protect us from the Mass Murderers who will start fan clubs and sell their artwork (i.e. John Wayne Gacy who killed 33 young men and boys) who will be given press interviews long after his was convicted.

Mr. Gacy was sentenced to die and did eventually die by lethal injection but not after years and years of appeals and years and years of hurt to the victims families. In fact, it goes beyond the victims families, the community that he lived in and killed in felt the pain of his continued existence.

But then perhaps some of you so are fond of sad little pictures of clowns and can't have enough to adorn your walls?
