you have been taking ballet for 1 year and you already want to dstart pointe you must be crazy first of all you body cant endure pointe until at least 5 years of ballet second of all you have to be taking ballet at least 3 times a week for ar least 1 1/2 hours each session !i am a professional dance teacher thst was once in the british royal ballet that preformed for the queen and it is my professional opinion that you dont staat pointe until you are until 19 or 20. if you would have started at the age of 4 as i did than would have been on pointe by the age of 9 as i was please e- mail me if you want to chat sincerely ariel
