ok all these people talking started dance when they were 3. Since ur starting older, your classes will most likely be more excellerated. Lets face it,with a very young student it can take years to teach what can be taught to an older student in one year. I am 15, started ballet 5 months ago and im on pointe. You'll be in pointe soon enough, dont sweat it.
