Subject: Task 11

There are two very interesting articles in Maclean's magazine (www.macleans.ca) this week. The first one (Mommy, is Santa Jesus's uncle?")talks about how to talk to children about Christmas and how it is celebrated in the amazingly multicultural society that Canada is. The other one talks about the story of Christmas ("The truth about Christmas")and how people lack knowledge in this subject because of the "consumerism fever" that the date brings.

I loved these articles (I always love Maclean's articles!) and I found them quite interesting too. It was strange at first because we are so deeply rooted in our Christian Christmas traditions in Brazil that we forget to get other perceptions of this date.
