Subject: Task 11

First I found an article talking about series of arrests which are happening in Britain and Europe in Christmas season and stokes fears of a terrorist attack. They think terrorists might attempt something in London over Christmas for political and practical reasons. Security forces in other countries have raised their own levels of alert. They said that this Christmas, like the last, is a season to be wary.
Another one is talking about the gifts that rich and famous people buy on Christmas, they go shopping for baubles, and buy a lot of expensive gifts as earrings, bracelets and rings of diamonds, rubies, pearls and brilliant. There is a kind of irony when they said that they don't need to ask the prices, they simply choose what they like and put it on their account...
And I read another article saying that in this Christmas, you can cuddle up with a furry friend while giving the gift of life to an endangered species. The World Wildlife Federation Canada has come up with an unusual gift idea: For $40 you can "adopt" a living polar bear or tiger, some of the world's most endangered species.
