Subject: Merry Christmas Task # 11

The 1st text I came across was about Bush’s Christmas on Time mag. I thought I’d be interesting, but I was mistaken. It was dull, it just mentioned the fact he’s gonna spend the holidays at Camp Davis, the U.S. presidents country house. I thought the text could have something funny about how happy Bush’d be on this holiday since his foe Saddam Hussein was arrested, anyways…
The next text was on CNN’s web site, and it was about the way celebrities are spending their money on this shopping spree. Some are buying scented candles, others scarves. Can you imagine wearing a scarf here in Brazil, 40º C? Well, jewelry is the high stake this Christmas shopping season, and colored clothes are 1st runner up.
Then I went to yahoo’s news, and I found a hilarious text on wishing merry Christmas. It was in Pittsburgh, a man held up all costumers in a bar, robbed $250.00 and got away wishing everyone “Merry Christmas!”. Police is still investigating.
The last text I read was on Reuters web site, it was nice because everyone things about what they want for Christmas making a wish list, this article was about a give list. What you can give to the ones that have nothing. Even jars full of change can go to charity. The article stated that the Americans has a culture to shop, not to give, so a site was created where people can buy things that are automatically donated.

P.S.: Below is the link (copy and paste) to the card I sent you guys, if you haven’t received it yet, check it out…………..
