Subject: TASK 3 READING

1) Text: Links between Child Vaccines and Autism?
2) The text tells the story of a family whose son developed autism right after he had his routine vaccination shots (mumps, measles and rubella). His parents believe that there is a conection between this brain disorder and the shots (and so do 33 percent of all the parents of autistic children) although a Dennish study found no link.
Another issue concerning autism is the fact that is has been increasing rapidly over the years changing the proportions from one autistic child for every 10,000 to one for every 250.
Since there is no exams or a cure for the disorder, the boy's father says he is worried about his son's future.
3) I did very well. I got a 100 in almost all of them. I just didn't understand why they had STORY and ABRIDGED STORY. I know they are different in their structure but why are the two there? Is there one that is original?
4) The text and the exercises are very good.
