The name of the text I have read for this week´s activity is:
Tropical ‘Brown Widow’ Spider, New to Los Angeles
Captured In Torrance; On Display at Museum

Discovery Part of Ongoing L.A. Spider Survey
By the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

The text talks about a discovery made by a 4th grade student of the Brown Widow Spider, which was never found before in Los Angeles. The student saw it and pointed it out to the guide as he was in an excursion. The spider is much more poisonous then it´s more famous sister: the black widow, but it´s also much less aggressive. It will only attack if it itself is attacked or if it feels threatened. One of the resources it can use besides its attack is to play dead at a dangerous moment. The Brown Spider was taken to a museum. If anyone gets bit by this spider he/she should seek medical assistance immediately.

I got 100% on the exercise related to this activity. I was kind of proud of myself, since some of the questions were challenging.

I don´t usually have much interest for this kind of newsstory, but I confess that this text got my attention. The fact that the spider is so rare and a young boy found it as well as the details related to this spider´s nature were quite interesting. Therefore I would surely recommend this text. The activity was also quite challenging and I enjoyed it as well.
