The text I chose was "Los Angeles area gets a new spider". It talks about a tropical "Brown Widow" spider that appears in Los Angeles and has been captured as part of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County's. It is probably originated in Africa and one of the many ways the spider could have made it to the Southland was through commercial imports of plants, flowers, food or furniture. They are not as agressive as the Black Widows but both are poisonous, so if you be bitten by any one of these spiders, you have to seek for medical assistance.
I got 14 correct answers in 15. It is a good result. And I thought this site very interesting, because you can learn about different subjects and do exercises to practice.
