well, finally, a year after i started this thread, i finally got to go backstage for the Strokes.

they are the coolest and sweetest. especially Albert. he so completely takes the cake.

jules is adorable and troubled. there is no doubt in my mind that he's an alcoholic.

nick was a pouty little baby but maybe he was just tired.

nikolai is super chilled out and very cool to talk to. much hotter in person; does not get enough credit.

fab is hyper and crazy and cute - and doesn't seem to sit still for a second.

renee zellweger was backstage at this show. i think she and jules are either getting it on or are going to. he was pretty much glued to her. these boys definitely like their older women!

there was no sex after this show. they were leaving that night. i saw some of the more pathetic groupies try to get onto the tour bus but it didn't happen. apparently, no girls are alowed on the bus and even their girlfriends have a really hard time getting on.

oh yeah - that's the other thing. they all seem to have girlfriends.

*sigh* there's always next time. and there's no doubt in my mind that they're the best rock and roll band in the world right now. get 'em while you can!~
