When I finished that book, I could not stand Bebe. I was also pissed off that I actually bought the damn thing! I was puzzled by how she barely mentions Liv in the book-until Liv becomes famous. But, she never talked about how she missed Liv, while she was out there banging different men. Liv is mentioned only when she gets famous, and then when she causes problems for Bebe by getting advice from Todd's ex. I feel Bebe's mom and cousin deserve all of the credit for raising Liv, and helping her to become the polite young lady she appears to be.
Oh, God, I could not quit laughing when I read about "Little Red Corvette." The woman is delusional! I suppose she thinks No Doubt's "Hey Baby" is about her too. Because, Gwen Stefani does pronounce it kind of like "bay bee." So, therefore, it MUST be in referrence to Bebe! ha ha!
I respect Pamela Des Barres a lot. At least she isn't living in some fantasy land...she writes so honestly and so beautifully, you feel as if you can really relate to her. Bebe attempts to make her readers feel as though she is so gorgeous...that we, mere mortals, should be lucky she's even sharing her "life" with us.
